Considered one of the finest dental schools in the world, the School educates over 75% of Louisiana’s practicing dental professionals. Students are provided the finest clinical education possible. The curriculum is complimented by opportunities in research, national externships and community service. State-of-the-art dental care is provided by students and residents in 17 clinic locations statewide, significantly increasing access to care for adults, children and the HIV population.  Since 1968, 3,001 dentists, 1,009 dental hygienists and 248 dental laboratory technologists have been educated by LSUSD.
